The role involves: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Full-time, day shift.
