Gas installation technician • Nassarawa, Kano State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Nassarawa, Kano State. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. You will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
