Food packing operative — Amherst County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a food packing operative in Amherst County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy packing line. Day-to-day duties: • Weigh and portion products before bagging • Count units and confirm the correct quantity per carton • Wipe down and sanitise the line following hygiene rules • Apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at speed to meet line targets • Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 kg On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
