Aluminium TIG welder — Sherman County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Sherman County, Nebraska. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Day to day you will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size.
