Fabricator-welder • Odukpani, Cross River State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Odukpani, Cross River State. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE The role involves set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
