Steam press operator wanted in Wyoming County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Wyoming County, New York. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Day to day you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Rotating shifts. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
