Cold room technician — Montcalm County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cold room technician in Montcalm County, Michigan. Day to day you will install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays. You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
