Safety marshal wanted in Borough of Tameside

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety marshal in Borough of Tameside, England. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations On the job you will handle: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around £2,650 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
