Steel fixing chargehand • Franklin County, Arkansas

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Franklin County, Arkansas. On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
