Vacancy available: restoration bricklayer (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Iowa County, Iowa. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. On the job you will handle: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
