Long-haul driver wanted in Canyon County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Canyon County, Idaho. On a typical shift you will report defects and book the unit in for servicing; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
