Cake decorator — Borough of Wigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cake decorator in Borough of Wigan, England. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. You should have: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics 3+ years on the tools preferred.
