Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Essex County, New York. The role involves: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day 1+ years on the tools preferred.
