Concrete pump mate wanted in Liberty County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Liberty County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Day-to-day duties: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
