Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steward in Decatur County, Georgia. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies What we are looking for: • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Punctual, reliable and hard-working • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
