Gtaw welder • Batsari, Katsina State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Batsari, Katsina State. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Your main tasks: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
