Immediate opening: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Halifax County, North Carolina. You will fault-find control boards and defrost timers; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges. Ideal candidate: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold 3+ years on the tools preferred.
