We are recruiting: CNC milling operator (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Garrard County, Kentucky. You will work at an automotive components factory. On a typical shift you will keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift 6+ years on the tools preferred.
