Framing carpenter • Borough of Rochdale, England

Join our team: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Borough of Rochdale, England. You will be based on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together You should have: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Rotating shifts.
