The role involves grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
