Argon arc welder wanted in Butte County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Butte County, California. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage The role involves: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
