Glass fitter • Union County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass fitter in Union County, Illinois. The job is at a glass and aluminium factory. Day to day you will install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; replace cracked or broken window panes; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Meals and transport allowance provided.
