We are recruiting: we are hiring a dogger in Fulton County, Georgia. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
