Reinforcement steel fixer — Oyi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Oyi, Anambra State. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Day-to-day duties: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
