Escalator technician wanted in Cook County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an escalator technician in Cook County, Georgia. You will work on a high-rise construction site. You will run load and overload tests with test weights; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
