Steel fixing chargehand • Pushmataha County, Oklahoma

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
