Urgent requirement: bar bender and fixer (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Lowndes County, Georgia. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Your main tasks: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
