Garment machinist wanted in Lafayette Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
