Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in LaSalle County, Illinois. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. The role involves: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
