Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Leon County, Texas. You will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 1+ years on the tools preferred.
