Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. The job is at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Your main tasks: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Six days a week, one day off.
