Safety inspector — Montezuma County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety inspector in Montezuma County, Colorado. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions On the job you will handle: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
