We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Southend-on-Sea, England. What we are looking for: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills The role involves: • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift Full-time, day shift.
