Bulldozer operator wanted in Johnson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Johnson County, Iowa. You will be based on an earthmoving and excavation site. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures The role involves: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Check for underground cables and services before digging Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
