On the job you will handle: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Six days a week, one day off.
