Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Copper River Census Area, Alaska. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Performance bonus on top of base pay.
