Tig welder • Conway County, Arkansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Conway County, Arkansas. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
