Site safety steward wanted in Argyll and Bute

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites The role involves: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. We offer £2,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
