Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Stanly County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 1+ years on the tools preferred.
