HSE officer • Jefferson County, Kansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Jefferson County, Kansas. You will work at a busy construction site. The role involves: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 4+ years on the tools preferred.
