Foundry operative wanted in Hinds County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Hinds County, Mississippi. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal The role involves operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. 5+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
