Urgent requirement: we are hiring a punch press operator in Pope County, Illinois. The job is at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
