Vacancy available: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. The job is on a new-build housing development. Day-to-day duties: • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
