Joiner — Sitka City and Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a joiner in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day to day you will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
