Horticulturist wanted in Harlan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Harlan County, Kentucky. You will work at a landscaping company. On a typical shift you will sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings. You should have: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
