Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Racine County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Day to day you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
