Concrete placer wanted in Mendocino County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in Mendocino County, California. What we are looking for: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules On a typical shift you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
