Vacancy available: fire and safety officer (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Kenton County, Kentucky. Day to day you will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
