Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Lake of the Woods County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Lake of the Woods County, Minnesota. You will work in a die and mould making unit. On the job you will handle: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience 3+ years on the tools preferred.
