Skimming plasterer — New Madrid County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in New Madrid County, Missouri. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Day to day you will apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • CSCS card or willing to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
